职场英语：法海滩招防晒员为游客涂防晒霜

    法国著名的海滨度假胜地萨布尔奥洛讷近日公开招聘海滩“防晒员”，主要职责是在7月中旬到8月底海滩度假高峰期为到访游客涂抹防晒霜并讲解防晒知识。据悉，该职位计划招聘男女两位“防晒员”，要求应聘者性格外向，具备良好的沟通技巧，并且掌握一定的医疗知识。一旦成功入选，便能获得每周850欧元的高额报酬。此次招聘计划先在网络上进行海选，确定候选人范围后将在6月份由一个特别委员会决定最终的“防晒员”人选。

    A French Atlantic resort began seeking applicants yesterday for a novel summer job： applier of suntan lotion. Les Sables d‘Olonne， a beach and sailing haunt， is offering €850 （￡750） a week to one man and one woman to rub lotion on to tourists from mid-July to late August.

    The two “creamers”， as they are called in French， will be picked by a jury in June after pre-selection by voting on the internet. The winners are expected to be outgoing， with good speaking skills and some medical knowledge.

    “We are recruiting two young people who will apply crème solaire and above all advise tourists on protection，” said Fran？ois Boche， the director of the town‘s tourist office. Free suncream will be handed out and priority will be given to children， in the presence of their parents.

    A sun products brand is sponsoring the idea， which is planned to generate publicity for Sables d‘Olonne.

    The port-resort， which claims above-average hours of sunshine for the region， has made headlines with publicity stunts. Last year it guaranteed sunny holidays by offering a full refund for people who cancelled reservations because of a bad weather forecast not less than two days before their scheduled arrival.

    In 2008 it turned a beached cargo ship， The Artemis， into a tourist attraction. The area is part of the mid-Atlantic region that was hit last month by storm flooding that killed 55 people.
