Most employers in China to offer salary rise 全民要求涨工资

About 65 percent of employers in China forecast increased hiring in the third quarter of 2010， according to a Hudson survey of 570 executives across key business sectors in China， the China Youth Daily reported.
About 59 percent of respondents said they would offer a 10 percent salary raise， and another 28 percent would raise the number to 20 percent， both higher than the average Asian markets， said the report from Hudson， a leading provider of permanent recruitment， contract professionals and talent management services.
"The hiring expectations are at their highest levels in China since the Q1 2006. Most employers prepared to make counter offers to dissuade staff from resigning，" said Mark Carriban， managing director of Hudson Asia.
Salary increases and promotions are seen as the most effective measures when making counter offers， according to the survey. |
