I'd like to …（I would like to ）是较客气的表示希望或要求的说法。

    baby-sitter ，临时保姆。在美国，父母晚间外出时都要找自己比较熟悉的
临时保姆（baby-sitter ）来照看孩子，按小时付给工资。通常他们外出前都会
将所去处的电话号码留给baby-sitter ，回来后一般都要开车送他们回家。

    2. five five five …seventeen twenty 5-5-5-17-20. 这是念电话号码的
一种形式。念完前三位号码，再两个两个地念后四位号码。

    3. Five five five …one seven two oh. 5-5-5-1-7-2-0.这是念电话号码
的另一种形式。念完前三位号码，再一个一个地念后四位号码。

    4. Shall we go？

    用"Shall we ……？" 来提建议，显得礼貌。
