北师大剑桥国际课程中心 校长致辞

　　在全球化的大背景下，中国正日益紧密地拥抱世界。培养具备全球视野和国际化教育背景的高质量人才，成为教育工作者们面对的一个重大课题。

　　多年来，我们始终秉持“学为人师，行为世范”的校训，伴随着北京师范大学建设世界知名高水平大学的步伐，将建设国内一流、国际知名的高水平继续教育学院为发展目标，积极与国内外高等教育机构、科研机构在教师培训、职业教育、继续教育、现代教育技术以及教育科学研究等领域开展广泛合作，取得了丰硕的成果。

　　今天，我又欣喜地看到北京师范大学剑桥国际课程中心的成立！

　　相信“中心”所推广的由英国剑桥大学国际考试委员会制定的A Level 课程正是培养国际性高质量人才的有益尝试；相信在中外教育工作者的紧密合作下，项目定会取得圆满成功！

　　祝愿更多未来的栋梁之才从北京师范大学剑桥国际课程中心走向世界一流大学！

　　Welcome to Join CICC Family

　　It is a pleasure to welcome you to the U-Link “Cambridge International Curriculum Centre of Beijing Normal University” （CICC）。

　　This is a unique learning community which builds a golden bridge of opportunity between China and the West. It is a place where students learn in partnership with teams of international and local teachers. We teach the world renowned IGCSE and A-Level programs in a setting that represents the best of both worlds. We know that our students are aiming to study abroad and we seek to prepare them to gain access to renowned overseas institutions and to succeed once they get there. Western education is characterised by a focus on teacher/student interaction， differentiated programs and the building of critical and creative thinking skills. Our dedicated teaching staffs know this and understand how to prepare the students for both academic success and university life.

　　CICC graduates are flexible， independent learners able to cope with pressure and different challenges. They can work effectively on their own， in teams and are able to prioritise their work by managing their time effectively. U-Link graduates leave with qualifications which give them access to top Universities in the UK， USA， Canada and Australia. They return with a highly sought after set of skills， able to flourish in today‘s domestic and global markets.

　　The achievement of our goals is enhanced by the fact that the Centre operates within a campus of Beijing Normal University. In fact， it is set in a historic garden campus in the heart of Beijing. Our CICC really is a special place. Within walking distance of the Forbidden City and amongst fascinating “Hutong” communities， CICC is very much the “real thing”。 The Campus sits close to the Houhai Lake and Beihai Park areas which are very popular with tourists and visitors for their natural beauty and social amenities. Being only another short walk from Pinganli Metro Station， the Centre is within easy reach of all suburban areas.

　　At the heart of everything we do is our determination to strive for academic excellence but in a caring environment where every student is valued. At the CICC we work hard to develop students as confident， caring young people with the inter-personal skills they will need to be successful as adults. We help them become the best they can be.
