高考英语中only用法
倒装句是英语中一个非常重要的语法点，正确运用倒装可以给文章添色加彩。下面通过两道高考题了解一下only引导的倒装句。

例2：Only after Mary read her composition the second time ____ the spelling mistake.(2012天津)
A. did she notice
B. she noticed

D. she has noticed

本题选A。“only+时间状语从句”位于句首时，主句要用部分倒装，而且可根据read判定本题时态是一般过去时，故选A。句意为：玛丽是在把作文读了第二遍之后才注意到那个拼写错误的。
[提示]
1.only修饰主语时，句子不用倒装。
例：Only our parents will always support us.只有我们的父母会一直支持我们。
2.only修饰状语从句时，从句不用倒装，主句用部分倒装。
例：Only when he finished his homework could he go out.只有做完作业后，他才能出去。
