1. The "w" sound in the phrase "How are you"（How are you 中的w 音）

    W 这个音要发得有力和清楚。练习的时候尽量说慢一点，想象有个苹果在你
口中。开口圆润、最后闭口。

    2. The "th" sound in the word "this"（This中的th音）

    This中的th音，同thanks或者thick 中的th音是不同的。大家应该把舌头轻
咬在上下齿之间来发音。如果念得正确，应该可以感觉到舌头的轻微震动哦。

    3. Long vowel sounds（长元音）

    最后，是"need"， "great"， "tired"， "looking"这些单词中的长元音。

    发这些长元音时要有意识将其拖长，从而突出这个音。

    有同学要问了，looking 这个单词音标标注的不是短元音吗，为什么也归在
其中？来看Alison老师怎么说：

    The word "look" is sometimes classified as a "short vowel" because
the "oo" sounds different in words like "spook". However， the word "looking"
needs a stronger emphasis and an extension of the vowel.（look这个单词
有时被归为短元音，因为其中的"oo"与spook 等单词中的"oo"听上去是不一样的，
但是要注意looking 这个词中的元音需要被强调并且拉长。）
