    A ： It looks too big for you ， but I like the color and the material
is of good quality. Is it on sale ？

    B ： Yes， it ‘s half price. It’s supposed to be too large——that
‘s the fashion.

    A ： I might get one too， but in a different color. I prefer light
blue to white.

    B ： There. It looks great， don‘t you think ？ I’m going to get
these jeans as well. I need a new pair. I ‘m also going to buy this scarf
ready for winter.

    A ： I‘m getting this beret. Doesn ’t it look cool？ I‘d like to
get some jeans too， but I don’t have enough cash on me.

    B ： Don‘t worry. I’ve got my credit card. You can pay me back later.

    A ： Thanks ！ Now I don‘t need to come back to the shop a second
time.

    「Intermediate」step2 ：中级进阶

    A ： I‘d like to be fitted for a suit please.

suit to be made from？ We have a selection of materials over here.

    A ： Well ， I thought that I would choose either this one or that
one. I really want a dark blue suit. Which do you recommend ？

quality.

difference in price. Ok ， I’ll take the more expensive one.

    B ： Fine. I‘ll measure you for the suit.…shoulder…waist …inside
leg …forearm …upper arm …thank you.

    I ‘ll prepare the suit for you tomorrow. Could you come again the
day after tomorrow just to check that the suit fits correctly ？ Then
I will make the final suit within a few days.

    A ： That ‘s fine. I would also like a few shirts and a jacket. I
don ’t need them specially made. Those shirts over there look very nice.
Are they made of cotton ？

    B ： Yes， they are. How many would you like and of which color ？

    A ： I‘ll take three light blue ones ， please.

    B ： Are you looking for a casual jacket or something formal？
