北京君诚学校一周简报/在家学习的一周 SIBS Newsletter Week 24

 　　在这段特殊的日子里，有困难找谁呢?当然是找老师啦!可是，老师在哪呢?哈哈，老师虽然不能见到你们，但是，老师在班级群里、在线上课堂里、在电话里、在微信公众号里……一直陪着你们 因为啊，见不到孩子们的“SIBS”实在是太孤单啦所以呢，我们就把学校变“小”了“小”到化整为零，“小”到了你们的家里面，孩子和家长在哪里，“SIBS”北京君诚学校就在哪里。浓缩的“SIBS”里究竟有些什么呢?

　　In this special period of time, who will you go to when you meet difficulties?

　　Therefore, we made the school smaller.

　　Small enough to break up into pieces, small enough to make it into your home,

　　Where children and parents are, "SIBS" are.

　　What is in a condensed "SIBS"?

　　01、我们有棒棒的孩子们

　　We have great kids

　　“我家小区也没有了以往的热闹，我也被闷在家里。难得可见的今年几场大雪也没有使人兴奋起来。没有了以往的打雪仗、堆雪人的场景，雪越加使我们的心情沉重。……

　　难道这可恶的病毒能吓倒我们吗?不会的……有一个信念从我做起，我一扫往日的沉闷。天天坚持在家上课，还锻炼身体，自觉做到不乱吃东西，爱护动物，讲卫生。”

　　面对疫情，蔡一凡同学写出了孩子们的心声。棒棒的孩子们不甘于此。

　　中学部的学生站出来了。本来按照学年的计划，所有中学部的学生都将参与到一项君诚学校的传统节目——在每学年末举办的“国际日”，其中有一些学生代表将扮演世界历史上的人物，为家长和学生带来一场精彩的演讲。但是因为疫情，学生们只能在家准备。他们自行检索资料，通过网络讨论，制作研究报告、绘图设计，最终形成了一张三折的大海报，连人物服装和道具都是自己设计和制作。现在，学生们正在紧锣密鼓的在家排练，以及在网络上与外教老师随时交流。

　　小学部的学生站出来了。G5C的孩子们在Frank老师的带领下，每天视频直播讲解英文、科学、社会学、数学。当然还有最受孩子们欢迎的节目：辩论比赛!

　　G4D的贾逸波Dylan同学的一篇文章描绘了“最美的逆行者”。

　　G3的孩子们带来的是精心制作的抗击疫情的手抄报。他们图文并茂，中英文并用，有的还用思维导图仔细分析病毒的来源、影响、保护措施等。

　　G2的孩子们要用优秀的英文作业《天气变化给环境带来的影响》来给病毒一个响亮的回应。

　　G1N的陈果Jenny同学也画了一幅英文的思维导图。同样来自G1N的田天骏Apollo和姐姐Alice一起制作了一个关于新冠肺炎的科普视频。

　　更小的孩子们也站出来了。KG的孩子们每天坚持英文阅读。K2A的小朋友们还接到一个特殊的“任务”：他们在跟着Elly老师读完一本叫《三明治》的书后，还需要自己用书中的短语来解释制作三明治的每一个步骤，并且自己做成一个三明治，然后吃掉它!!

　　In the face of the epidemic, Cai Yifan wrote the children's voices. Good kids are unwilling to be defeated.

　　The MSHS students came forward. According to the plan of the school year, all MSHS students will participate in a traditional program of SIBS -- "International Day" held at the end of each school year, in which some student representatives will play famous figures in world history and give a wonderful speech to parents and students. Because of the outbreak, students have to prepare at home. They searched the materials by themselves, discussed online, made research reports, drew the designs, and finally formed a three-fold poster. Even the costumes and props of the characters were designed and made by themselves. Now, students are busy rehearsing at home and communicating with foreign teachers on the Internet.

　　The students in the elementary school came forward. The Children of G5C, led by Mr. Frank, learned English, science, sociology and math live on video every day. He often organized students to took part in debates.

　　An article by Dylan Jia Yibo from G4D describes "the most beautiful fighter".

　　The G3 children brought elaborate copies of the outbreak. They are illustrated in both Chinese and English, and some use mind maps to carefully analyze the source, impact and protection measures of the virus.

　　G2 kids give the virus a resounding response with their excellent English homework on the ‘environmental impact of climate change’.

　　Jenny Chen from G1N also drew a mind map in English.

　　Tian Tianjun Apollo, also from G1N, and his sister Alice made a popular science video about the new coronary pneumonia.

　　Younger children have also come forward. Children from KG read in English every day. Children from K2A were also given a special "task" : after reading a book called "sandwiches" with Elly, they had to explain the steps of making a sandwich with phrases from the book, then make a sandwich and eat it!!

　　02、我们有棒棒的家长们

　　We have great parents

　　在2月13日，学校公众号发出“筹备开学防疫物资”的呼吁之后，热情的家长们纷纷与学校联系，提供各种渠道。短短的3天，学校就已经筹备齐了所有的物资清单。有的家长还向学校无偿捐献了防疫物品。君诚的家长们，你们真是棒棒哒!

　　不仅如此，君诚的家长们个个化(bèi)身(pò)为全能选手，十八般武艺样样都得精通。做得了好菜，辅导了网课，没事就得客厅变操场，书房变课堂，一不小心就变身Tony老师，最后还要认真的开工作视频会议，同时对随时会冲进来的娃严防死守。在以上高难度组合动作结束之后，家长们还不忘跟老师们交流孩子的情况，夸夸老师，一秒暖心。

Make good dishes, help kids net lesson, switch the sitting room to playground, switch the home office to classroom, be the haircutter, but also open to work video conference seriously and at the same time rush to stop kid from disturbing. After the above difficult movements, parents still do not forget to communicate with teachers about their children's situation, celebrate teacher, such a warm heart.

　　03、当然，我们也有棒棒的老师们

　　Of course, we also have great teachers

　　和家长共情，和孩子共赢。老师是离孩子和家长最近的人。每个班的微信群，都联动了十几个小家庭。老师们每天都关心着孩子们的健康，了解班里每一个孩子的情况，时不时晒晒孩子们的作品，鼓励鼓励孩子。面对家长的疑问，及时准确的传达和解决。

　　很多外教老师在这个特殊的假期并没有回到万里之遥的家中，也没有丝毫的退缩，他们同往常一样，与中教老师一起合作，一起备课，坚守在教育一线。在疫情面前，君诚老师们的选择是不分国籍、并肩战斗!

　　学校四位校长已经回到工作岗位

　　Empathy with parents, win-win with children. Teachers are the closest people to children and parents. The WeChat group of each class is connected with more than a dozen small families. Teachers are concerned about the children's health every day, they want to know the situation of every child in the class, from time to time post children's works to encourage them. 　　Many foreign teachers in this special holiday did not go back to their home, nor did they shrink from the slightest, they work with Chinese teachers as usual, prepare of lessons, stick to the forefront of education.
