北京君诚学校14名学子参加国际模拟联合国大会

　　七月的羊城，骄阳似火，北京君诚学校子利用暑期，参加了在广州白云国际会议中心召开的2019国际中学生模拟联合国大会·中国会。

　　In July, the sun in Yangcheng shines like fire. SIBS students took advantage of the summer vacation to participate in The simulation of the UN General Assembly ·China Conference for International Middle School Students in 2019, held at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Conference Center.

　　据悉，本次大会共有131所重点中学的优秀学生参加，参会代表规模1168人，地区遍及北京、四川、重庆、广东、山东等省份。此外，组委会还邀请了联合国全球传播部的MR. Brenden Varma，华南师范大学唐昊教授等嘉宾莅临会场进行主题演讲及指导。

　　我校此次由刘娜老师带领14位优秀学生代表参加本次大会，席位分布于三个中文会场和四个英文会场，共计七个会场14个席位。

　　It is reported that there are 131 outstanding students from key middle schools participating in the conference.The number of participants is 1,168, and the region covers Beijing, Sichuan,Chongqing, Guangdong, Shandong, and other provinces. In addition, the organizing committee also invited MR. Brenden Varma from the United Nations Global Communications Department, Professor Tang Hao from South China Normal University and other guests to attend the conference to give keynote speeches and guidance.

　　Our school was led by Liu Na to lead 14 outstanding students to participate in the conference. The seats were distributed in three Chinese venues and four English conference venues, with a total of 14 seats in seven venues.

　　会前，代表们分别就自己的议题开展了充分的准备活动：包括赛前培训，资料收集，市场调研，立场文件撰写等。

　　Before the meeting, the delegates carriedout adequate preparation activities on their topics: including pre-match training, data collection, market research, and position paper writing.

　　会中，代表们根据各个会场不同的议事规则，扮演不同国家或其它政治实体的外交代表，参与围绕国际上的热点问题召开的会议。代表们遵循议事规则，在会议主席团的主持下，通过演讲来阐述观点，为了“国家利益”辩论、磋商、游说。在这里，有火花迸溅的思维碰撞，有酣畅淋漓的学术辩论，有分庭抗礼的投票拉锯……

　　During the meeting, delegates played diplomatic representatives of different countries or other political entities according to different rules of procedure at each venue and participated in meetings held around international hot issues. The deputies followed the rules of procedure and, under the auspices of the presidium of the conference,elaborated their views through speeches, debated, negotiated, and lobbied for“national interests”. Here, there is a sparkling and splattered thinking collision, a hearty academic debate, and an equal see-sawing vote competition...

　　会后，君诚学子纷纷表示不虚此行，模拟联合国大会是一个充满魔力的平台，通过参与大会，将人文主义关怀的目光投向世界各隅;在角色代入的过程中，推己及人，心怀天下，从而培养风范，铸就博大胸襟。

　　After the meeting, SIBS students expressed that it’s a worthwhile trip. The simulation of the UN General Assembly is a magical platform. By participating in the conference, the vision of humanistic care is cast into the world. In the process of role substitution, one should treat others as one's own and bear the world in mind, to cultivate the leadership style and create a broad mind.
