2-5 课文：The liability for the cargo may be determined in different ways and may rest with the shipowner or with the charterer or may be divided between them in one way or another.

　　2-6 课文：When giving orders to the vessel the charterer must keep within the trading limits prescribed by the contract, with respect to geographical areas as well as cargoes to be carried.

　　2-7 课文：There are also some standard forms of time charter party used in the time chartering business. 　定期租船合同也有几种标准格式。

　　主要的两种格式：

　　1.NYPE form 土产格式

　　全称“纽约土产交易所定期租船合同”(The New York Produce Exchange Time Charter),是美国纽约土产交易所指定的定期租船合同的标准格式。

　　By far the largest number of time chartering are fixed on the basis of the NYPE Charter Party.

　　到目前为止大量的定期租船都是以土产格式作为合同样本的基础。

　　2.BALTIME form “波尔的姆”格式

　　全称“波尔的姆统一定期租船合同”(Baltime Uniform Time Charter Party), 是波罗的海国际航运协会制定的定期租船合同标准格式。
