Now I'm very proud to tell you that in China, there are altogether 56 ethnic groups with Han having the largest population. The minorities are Zhuang, Hui, Qiang, Yi, Miao, Russian, Bai, Gaoshan, Manchu etc. We 56 races of people live happily and harmoniously together in our country under the leadership of the Communist Party. More Foreign Brides are Coming to China? Recently I've read a report in a newspaper, saying that in 2020, the proportion of men to women in China's population will be 136: 100. This is a shocking statistics that can reflect a lot of problems. We in China have the largest population in the world. As the economy grows, population problems are increasing. In metropolitan cities people are much richer than those who live in rural areas. Education and living standards are even far from the average level in some poverty-stricken villages. In China, there are still many such villages. The poor always believe that male offspring will become strong labor force and are superior to females. Many of the undereducated are prejudiced against girls, therefore many female fetus have been aborted and female babies have been abandoned. As a result, male citizens have increased much faster than females. Consequently, the proportion of men to women nowadays is in the state of imbalance. Bachelors will become more and social problems will arise. The government will have to constitute new laws to allow foreign girls to come to China in order to harmonize the society. Perhaps in the near future we'll notice that the boys around us are all dating with Japanese girls, Korean girls, Mongolian girls and Russian girls.
