Directions: In this section, you will read 5 short conversations between a man and a woman. At the end of each conversation there is a question followed. by 4 choices marked A, B, C, and D. Choose the best answer to the question from the 4 choices by marking the corresponding letter with a single bar across the square brackets on your machine-scoring ANSWER SHEET.

1. Woman: Dave told me that he had had 15 papers published by the end of last month. Is that true?  
   Man:   you must take what Dave said with a grain of salt. 
Question: What does the man mean?
A. The woman shouldn’t believe everything Dave told her.
B. The woman should believe him.
C. Dave is not serious with the woman.
D. Dave is always true to his words.

2. Man:   It’s much better to wait until tomorrow to go. Don’t you agree?
  Woman: Yes. I couldn’t agree more.
