  　　什么是计算思维?计算思维是运用计算机科学的基础概念进行问题求解、系统设计、以及人类行为理解等涵盖计算机科学之广度的一系列思维活动。

　　Computational thinking is a series of thinking activities that cover the breadth of computer science, such as problem solving, system design, and human behavior understanding, etc.

　　海狸运算思维挑战赛

　　海狸运算思维挑战赛旨在引起学生对电脑科学的兴趣，竞赛题目趣味性强，与日常活动息息相关，强调计算机科学概念在我们生活当中的作用和重要性。北京中加学校的学子们也参加了这次有意思的竞赛，二十多万名参赛者按照年龄参加不同的组别，用运算思维解决问题;竞赛中鼓励学生积极参与，锻炼用计算机思维解决问题的能力，该能力也是二十一世纪国际公民必要素质之一。

　　It is a competition aimed at raising awareness of Computer Science in a fun and rewarding way. The competition involves solving problems using computational thinking skills. Over 200,000 students participated in the Challenge. It encourages a greater interest, or aptitude, for computational thinking. The challenge has 6 categories aimed at different age groups with tasks showcasing the best ideas by letting students apply both logical and computational thinking. The tasks demonstrate how integrated and important these concepts are in our daily lives.

　　北京中加学校学生在海狸竞赛表现优秀，共有三十七位同学获得荣誉奖(竞赛成绩前50%)，五十四位同学获得奖(竞赛成绩前25%)。

　　五名同学在各自的参赛组别获得满分的成绩

　　Our students did a good job in the challenge. 37 students received Certificate of Merit (Top 50%) and 54 students got the Certificate of Distinction (Top 25%).

　　5 students got full credit in their corresponding groups

　　九名同学获邀参加TCS牛津运算思维挑战赛(五年级以上组别竞赛成绩前10%的学生才获邀请)

　　9 students got invitations to the TCS Oxford Computing Challenge which students need to have scores that put them in the top 10% in Juniors or higher age group
