  下面为广大考生列举了MBA英语听力考试中最常用到的句式,希望对大家有所帮助:

  1.can’t/couldn’t…more/better 再…不过,已达到极限;非常

  (形式上的否定,意义上的肯定)

  e.g.: 1)—I think it’s high time we turned our attention to drunk driving.

  —I couldn’t agree with you more.

  2)—What do you think of the new dress?

  —It can’t be more beautiful.

  2.have sth done请人或让别人做某事

  e. g.:—Did you paint the house all by yourself?

  —I had it painted.

  3.How could you…?你怎么能…?

  (对对方的做法或想法不赞同或持批评态度)

  e.g.:—I didn’t think much of the lecture. I dozed off half the time.

  —How could you do that?

  4.How do you like…?你觉得……怎么样

  e.g.—The place I’ve heard so much about is Los Angeles. The climate is pretty good.

  —How do you like it?

  5.I’d love to, but…我倒是愿意,但是…(表示谢绝)

  e.g.:—Would you like to come to dinner with us tonight?

  —I’d love to, but I’ve got to study for tomorrow’s test.

  6.It’s about time…是时候(做)……

  e.g.—The city council has finally voted the funds to build a new high school.

  —It’s about time they did it.

  7.It’s all very well to say…说说……当然容易

  e.g.—It’s partly your own fault. You should never let in anyone like that unless you’re expecting him.

  .—It’s all very well to say that, but someone comes to the door and says“electricity”or“gas”and you automatically think he is OK, especially if he shows you a card.

  8.It’s one’s turn轮到某人

  e.g.—What is the home assignment from Professor Smith? I missed the class this morning.

  .—Finish reading Chapters 5 to 6, and write an essay based on Chapters 3 and 4.Remember, it’s your turn to give a presentation next Monday.

  9.if only…要是…该多好(后一般接虚拟语气)

  e.g.:—Have you found your dictionary?

  —If only could remember where I left it.

  10.No sooner…than…一…就…(指两件事几乎同时发生)

  e.g: No sooner did I enter the room than the phone rang.

  11.So far as I know.就我所知(是这样的)

  e.g:—Will the field trip be on Friday as scheduled?

  —So far as I know.

  12.the last thing/person…最不愿意或最没有可能…的人或事

  e.g.: 1)You are the last person in the world I want to hurt.

  2)They are the last couple I expect to divorce.

  13.Whatever…is fine with me.无论…我都同意或无所谓

  e.g.:—Karen suggested going to the art gallery this weekend.

  —Whatever she decides is fine with me.

  14.Why bother?用不着(表示否定)

  e.g:—Where is Jane? I’ve got to find her and tell her about the meeting this afternoon.

  —Why bother? You’ll see her at lunch.

  15.Why not…?为何不?干吗不?(表示建议)

  e.g.:—My aunt had a car accident and she’s in hospital.

  —Why not go over to see her now?

  16.Would it be better if…?如果…不是更好吗?(用于委婉的建议)

  e.g.:—Richard’s become quite unreasonable recently. I don’t know what’s wrong with him.

  —Would it be better if you leave him alone?
