邀请信简介：主要说明邀请的原因、活动的地点和时间。

写作“三步走”：说明邀请目的—>说明活动安排—>期待尽早回复

注意:信中要说明关于活动的详细信息，包括活动时间、地点、内容，有时需要说明参加活动的人员。语气要热情真挚，但不要强人所难。

模板句型：

第一部分：说明邀请目的

On behalf of…, I have the honor to invite you to…

It is with the great pleasure that I write to cordially invite you to…

范文：

Directions:

You are supposed to invite Mr. and Mrs. Brown to your party. The follows should be included

1) the reasons of invitation,

2) time and location of the party.

Your letter should be no less than 100 words. You don’t need to write the address. Don’t sign your own name at the end of the letter, use Li Ming instead.

Dear Mr. Brown,

We should be very much pleased if you and Mrs. Brown would dine with us on Sunday at 7 o’clock in our home.

My son has come back from England after a year’s study in Oxford University. He wants to see you very much and ask you some questions about his later study in China. It will be quite a small party, as we have only asked Mr. and Mrs. King and Miss Jane, all close friends of ours.
